Join the FIUTS team as a community participant! FIUTS offers many opportunities.
- Wednesday Lunch. Meet hundreds of international students and like-minded Americans at this weekly event. Volunteer to help prepare and serve lunch every week.
- Education Outreach Are you a K-12 teacher? Bring UW international students into your classroom to share their culture, discuss global issues, or help with foriegn languages. Are you director of programs at a senior center? Invite UW students to bring their culture or international experience alive.
- Spouse Programs Assist international spouses and families adjust to life in the US.
- Board of Trustees. Serve on the FIUTS Board. We are looking for skilled, energetic and creative individuals with a passion for all things international as well as for the University of Washington and its students.
- Sponsorship Help make our programs possible. Sponsoring a program is a great way to expose the more than 4000 University of Washington international students and scholars to your business or organization, as well as to support global understanding.
- Volunteer in the office. Greet and assist international students, organize bulletin boards, help out with mailings, manage the FIUTS membership database, and other office support.
