Community connections are vital to the FIUTS mission and the long tradition of connecting international students and scholars with the greater Seattle community. There are many ways to get involved in the FIUTS community to foster international understanding in the Puget Sound and around the globe.

FIUTS Friendship Programs Host a new UW International Student for a week, weekend, or Thanksgiving dinner.

Take the World to Work Week Take an international student to your office and share insights on working in the US.

Education Outreach Programs Bring UW students to your local classroom or senior center.

Volunteer in the FIUTS office or at Wednesday Lunch.

Alumni Programs Connect with other FIUTS alumni in your area.

Welcome BBQ
Friday September 12, Woodland Park, 6-9 pm
Welcome new University of Washington international students and scholars at an American-style BBQ. Families welcome! All food, condiments, water and sports equipment will be provided by FIUTS.
