Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

On Monday January 21st, 2008 a team of FIUTS volunteers participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. We helped organize and inventory food for the Immanuel Community Services food bank. We worked with a group of Navy ROTC student volunteers. See us below moving boxes in the deep freezer and repackaging pasta and frozen salmon. Immanuel Community Services mission is to serve people who are hungry, homeless, and are the "working poor"; nurture community; welcome all; and rekindle hope.
