Art Venues
There are a variety of museums, art galleries, and theaters both on campus and around Seattle. Most offer discounts to students with a valid UW ID. Many, if not all, museums and art galleries have free admission on the first Thursday of every month. Here are a few recommendations.

Seattle Parks
The city of Seattle is home to an amazing park system. During the spring, summer, and fall, the parks are used by many people and are a great place to hang out with friends, play sports, or go swimming at the beach. Many parks also have facilities that can be reserved for picnics and parties. Be sure to experience the Seattle parks system while you are here. A great thing about them is that they are free.
