Interested in helping new international students adjust to life in Seattle? Sharing your culture with others? Building your skills
and your resume? Fostering international awareness? Join the FIUTS
team as a FIUTS Facilitator!
Many non-profit organizations such as FIUTS depend on the generosity
and passion of their volunteers to help accomplish their goals. Volunteering
is an important value in American culture, and provides a great opportunity
for individuals to build their skills and explore potential careers.
FIUTS welcomes volunteers from all skill levels and backgrounds.
Facilitators can be any UW student, international or local, graduate or undergraduate. Hours are flexible but volunteers are expected to keep their commitments.
To become a FIUTS Facilitator you need to fill out an application form in the FIUTS office, or you can download and print one. After submitting your application you will receive an e-mail about coming to the next introductory training. Once you complete this brief training you'll be ready to volunteer.
