 Several organizations are working to help the victims of the earthquake that occured near Chengdu in the Sichuan Province on May 12.
UW students who are studying abroad in Chengdu have formed China Earthquake Aid and are working closely with NGOs involved in relief and recovery, including Chengdu Urban Rivers Association, World Wildlife Foundation and Conservation, Roots And Shoots, Green S.O.S. and the Cool Mountain Education Fund. FIUTS is collecting funds from our community to contribute to this effort and help those communities greatly affected by the disaster.
