A few great blogs featuring advice and experiences from international students studying in the U.S. Living and studying far from home is exciting, but we all know it can be difficult and stressful as well. It's always nice to know that there are others out there who are having the same kinds of great adventures -- and struggling with the same challenges.

We'd like to share a few blogs written just for international students that offer not only advice about various aspects of studying in the U.S. - from how to manage your academic workload, to strategies for coping with homesickness - but also share stories and insights from students from all over the world, studying around the country.

VOA Student Union

Bloggers who write for this site come from all over the world. They offer advice to fellow international students, and share their personal experiences and perspectives on topics such as making friends, understanding diversity and racial issues in the United States, and dealing with language and cultural barriers as an international student.

International Student Counsel

This is a new blog with just a few posts so far, but we really liked their advice on how to avoid 3 mistakes new international students make and are keeping an eye out for more great tips!

Peer Transfer Blog

Peer Transfer is an international tuition payment service company - and while we don't know enough about them to be able to recommend their services, we do recommend their blog, which covers topics such as surprises international students may face when coming to the U.S., how to make friends with your professors, and strategies for managing your expenses while studying overseas.
