Fall 2017 Photo Contest Winner

The students of the FIUTS Leadership Committee have selected the winner of their quarterly photo contest. Photos were considered on the basis of the quality of the photo and its connection to FIUTS. Thank you to everyone who submitted photos!

"This photo was taken during FIUTS boat trip event 2017. This is an awesome picture to me not only because it has a very cool "W" hand sign at the center, but there are also international students hanging around as a background. It can convey the meaning that no matter where you are from or who you are, we are all welcomed here to get connected to each other and to learn more from your new friends in our new home, University of Washington. By looking at this picture, It is definitely what FIUTS have been working for, right? :)"

"The photo was taken on 11/24/2016, the first year I came to UW. I always feel so lucky to be a part of the event "Thanksgiving Dinner with Local Hosts." The hospitality of Betsy and Jason really made me feel home and I've considered Seattle as my second hometown since then. I am truly grateful that FIUTS provides the chance for international students to build up beautiful relationships with locals."
