Welcome, Tokyo Tech!
This February, FIUTS welcomed students from Tokyo Tech for two days as part of their study abroad program on cultural exchange and communication.
Tokyo Tech students met with FIUTS Ambassadors, student volunteers from the University of Washington, with whom they toured the University campus and participated in an interactive English class centered on global academic culture. They spent the evening having dinner with local hosts as part of the FIUTS Homestay Program.
The following Monday, visiting students toured the UW CoMotion Labs to study the multi-industry incubation environment for early-stage startups. They also visited one of Seattle’s Google Offices and the McCarty Innovation & Learning Lab (MILL) to learn more about the local science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
