Thank you, Bea
It's the last day in the office for FIUTS Manager of Community Programs Bea Chang! Bea joined FIUTS in summer 2015. Since then, she has matched hundreds of students with homestay hosts for meaningful cross-cultural experiences; organized events small and very, very big (including the recent CulturalFest International Expo); and mentored and inspired many student leaders. We are sad to see her go but excited to see what adventures she finds in her upcoming travels around the world. We're sending her off with lots of messages from students, hosts, and others in the FIUTS community to wish her well. Thank you, Bea!

Bea, Obviously it is sad to see you go but... I understand a traveler can't stay still for too long before it's time for them to fly again. With that in mind, I am glad I got to be part of your stop in Seattle, learn from you and be your personal postmate! :D :D You helped me see myself under a completely different light and to have the courage to do what I want to do (just like you!) and for that I will be eternally grateful! I still remember the first email I received from you that went like this - "From: Beatrice Chang Sent: Tuesday, August 18, 2015 10:36 AM To: 'Elizabeth Moore' cc: Sambit Shankar Pattnaik Subject: Welcome Week Match Email". I can't tell you enough how much of a huge impact this single email had in my life. It set me on an eventful journey that never stopped. I met my host-mom, so many new friends from all over the world and came to be a member of the wonderful FIUTS family. It is almost time for graduation and this transformative experience would never have been possible without you or that email. All the times I had a conversation with you, it reminded of all the wonderful people I have around me and that I am never alone in my journey.
