Brief Introduction: Hi! My name is Junho Park. I am a senior, majoring in Economics and Political Science. I was born and raised up in Korea until middle school, then I went to study abroad to Regina, a small city in the middle of Canada. After that, I returned to Korea and attended international school until the 12th grade! Luckily, I received UW admission in the fall of 2011. During my college life here in beautiful UW, I met FIUTS, and it has been a great honor for me to be a facilitator. I am going to graduate this June (finally), and I just can't wait to see what will be waiting for me in the future!

What does it mean to be a FIUTS facilitator?
I became a facilitator because I was captivated by FIUTS's goal to connects students to local and global communities through programs that build international awareness, cross-cultural communication, and informed leadership. Through facilitating a variety of FIUTS events, I could meet other facilitators or participants with different cultures and backgrounds from all around the world. Although I participated in many events as a leader to guide other students, I could see, feel, and learn so many things from them. I was also able to see and understand myself through the experience of meeting, understanding, and knowing other students with different thinking and perspectives. Joining FIUTS as a facilitator was one of the best decisions I have made in my life! Participating in FIUTS enables me to have so precious memories of my college life.

Favorite FIUTS anecdote as a facilitator
Every single moment I've spent with FIUTS was so valuable and wonderful! Among them, the spring break Portland road trip is one of my favorite events. This trip was not a guided tour, but rather we had to make our own plans to do everything. Therefore, every night, we gathered all together for planning the next day's schedule, and it was so exciting and fun. Even the unexpected situation was so enjoyable, and the hike to Silver Fall State Park that we discovered by chance was also the best. This global getaway allowed me to meet such awesome friends and made my last vacation in college so valuable and meaningful.
