On January 23, students from around the world enjoyed a FIUTS trip to the UW Husky Men's basketball game against Oregon. Todd, one of the facilitators for the event, submitted this blog post and photos:

Coming to the U.S., all the international students were overwhelmed by the spirit of American Football, especially with Seahawks going to Superbowl!!! However, most of the students witnessed for the first time that college basketball is also a popular and competitive sport here in America!

We not only had a great time at the Wing Central due to its vicinity to campus and its accommodating service to our group, but we also learned a great deal about how to cheer like a true Husky at the Bank of America Arena! The competitiveness of the game even spiked our spirits higher than expected!

Of course, being from the school that won the game made us especially proud as we walked out of the arena!! Besides being spirited, we all had a great time hanging out with one another!! It was a success, and we should do it more!!
