Remembering Sheila Belcher

FIUTS recently learned of the passing of a beloved member of our community, Sheila Belcher. A longtime host and supporter of FIUTS, Sheila and her husband Don especially enjoyed connecting with Humphrey Fellows and Fulbright scholars from countries across Africa, who were always so impressed by their incredible adventures around the world.

Sheila and Don received the FIUTS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2010, in honor of their many years of impact on our community. Read Sheila Belcher's obituary here.
