Emerson Goss // Seattle, Washington
“I took this photo while hiking on a trail close to Mount Rainier over the summer! I guess something interesting is when trying to find the trail head entrance, make sure to carefully look around for the signs that point you where to go because we got lost for 30 minutes since the sign blended in with the road.”
Alvin Duong // Santa Clara, California
“This is my first hike after the pandemic. We went to the chain lakes loop and took this photo of Mt.Baker. Another great thing about the hiking was that everyone wore masks and kept distance :)”
Ningxin Ma // Seattle, Washington
“This is a photo that I took on the field trip with my family around Hunan, China area. We were out of gas at this very moment and I snap this pic with my phone super quick before we took off. It’s a wonderful moment and one of my favorite photo, especially those birdie fly through the rooftop.”
Shenlan Guan // Guangzhou, China

Sachin Nayak // Seattle, Washington
“Rainbow over Niagara Falls”
Keerthi Gangula // Seattle, Washington

My house is near Ballard. I have hosted many FIUTS students. The fourth photo is from the river near Cougar Rock campground in Mt. Rainier National Park, showing Mt. Rainier at sunset from Nisqually River.”
Cathy Farrar // Washington
“When summer and winter are being friends. If you miss snow during summer time, Mt. Rainier is a perfect place to visit. We still can enjoy dan play with snow in summer time in Mt. Rainier.”
Rita Ismail // Jakarta, Indonesia
“This photo featured my first trip to the Mount Rainier Area with one of my hiking buddies. The photo was taken at the Grand Park during early October. It was a bit cold but the weather and scenery are spectacular! There is a gorgeous lake on the way, highly recommended as well! We were amazed by the wildlife in Washington and started to try out different hikes every year.”
