Camping at Larrabee State Park

Learn how to pitch a tent, make yummy s’mores, and camp U.S. style! Spend a weekend making new friends while exploring Fragrance Lake, Clayton Beach, and the surrounding area. Our campsite is located near the Pacific Ocean and has a lot of things to do nearby.

ADVANCED SIGN-UP BEGINS ON MONDAY, June 3RD AT FIUTS OFFICE (HUB 206)!

Cost: $55

Who: UW students, IELP, Scholars, & Staff ONLY. Limited space available; sign-up early to secure a spot!

What to bring: A sleeping bag (we recommend a cool/cold weather bag made for camping temperatures between 30 and 50 degrees; If you don’t have one yet, you can purchase one from Target, REI, Big Five, Fred Myers, Goodwill, North Face, Columbia, etc.). There also may be some available for rent through the UW Gear Garage or REI. Other things to bring: a pillow, sleeping pad (if you have access to one), hiking shoes (or shoes that can be used for hiking/walking around), change of clothes, flashlight (if you have one), wind/rain jacket, warm pajamas (it gets chilly at night), warm hat & socks, water bottle, toiletries (toothbrush, etc.), bag LUNCH for Saturday, extra cash if you want to buy anything extra, and your camera - of course!
