Join us for a weekly discussion series focused on the many ways individuals can create social change in their communities and the world - and engage in dialogue about what your role can be in making a difference.
We encourage participants to plan to attend all five sessions in the series in order to build a more connected community of dialogue, but it is not required - you are welcome to attend as many sessions as you can!
Date: Thursdays, April 8-May 6
Time: 4:00-5:30 PM, PDT
This week’s topic: Using your voice. In this session, we’ll tackle to topic of advocacy as a way to effect social change. How can individuals most effectively advocate to those with power - such as political entities, elected officials, and corporations? We’ll discuss topics like advocacy campaigns, protests, and political engagement from a global perspective.
