FIUTS is honored to have been selected to host a group of students from the inaugural cohort of the U.S.-Korea Summer English Scholars Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State through the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, Korea. This new program provides promising Korean undergraduates the opportunity to improve their English language proficiency as well as experience U.S. culture through immersion in U.S. society. A combination of English language training, residential and cultural activities, and extracurricular experiences will deepen participants’ understanding of the United States and what it means to be a global citizen.
