International education expert Rajika Bhandari, PhD, will speak about and read from her recent memoir, America Calling: A Foreign Student in a Country of Possibility that documents her experience as an international exchange student to the US from India in the 1990s.

This public event, in conjunction with FIUTS and the Association of Writers and Writing 2023 conference, explores Bhandari’s comparative, intercultural and personal perspective on what it means to be an international student coming to an American university for the first time.
