With more than 500 acres on the shore of Puget Sound, Discovery Park is the largest city park in Seattle! There is so much to see and do – hiking trails, the incredible sandy beach and scenic lighthouse, the Daybreak Star Cultural Arts Center (a native arts center), and even an old military cemetery!
Hiking Difficulty Rating: Easy
Rating Rationale: This trail is relatively flat, well-maintained, and about 30 minutes in length. Participants will walk along this trail to get to the sandy beaches and lighthouse point!

Have your plans changed? Why it’s important to officially cancel (as opposed to not show up):
Currently, group sizes are limited to ensure participant safety. This means that we cannot always accommodate everyone who wants to join an event and have an active waitlist. If your plans change, it’s important to let us know because someone would love to have your spot! To cancel your reservation, simply email: annie@fiuts.org. There is no penalty to cancel your reservation.
If you are cancelling for a ticketed event, please note that FIUTS can refund 75% of the ticket price up to three days before an event. If you cancel less than three days before an event, it will not be possible to issue a refund. All refunds will go back on the card originally used to make the purchase within 7-10 business days.
