FIUTS CulturalFest Co-Chair Application 2024/2025

FIUTS CulturalFest is a community event that celebrates the diversity and talent that international connections bring to our region’s campuses. The two-part event includes an International Expo presented by student teams sharing elements of their home cultures plus a Performance Showcase featuring music and dance performances from around the world.

Four students will be elected to co-chair positions for 2024/2025. They will lead committees of student volunteers as they prepare for the annual event, scheduled for April 2025.

For the 24/25 year, CulturalFest Co-Chairs will selected by the outgoing Student Board through a competitive election process.

Note: Before you apply, make sure you are prepared for the level of commitment involved:

  • Ongoing meetings of both the main CulturalFest committee and your sub-committee group;

  • Recruitment and coordination of students from across the region;

  • Clear communication with staff and other student leaders;

  • Regular participation and leadership in FIUTS programs, including training and participation as a FIUTS Facilitator;

  • A willingness to work hard, partner with the staff, and have fun!
