Talking Trash: Understanding recycling and composting at UW

  • Husky Union Building 307 (map)

Presented by: Liz Gignilliat, UW Recylcing

Did you know that a coffee cup you buy on campus can go in the compost? That plastic bottles can be made into a fleece jacket? That carrots put in a landfill can keep their shape and color for ten years? Recycling - it’s complicated, it’s always changing, and it’s a huge part of what it means to be a Husky! Come join us for a session that will introduce you to the ins and the outs of recycling and composting on campus.
