Faces of FIUTS: Kim Couri

Faces of FIUTS is a social media campaign that collects personal stories from individuals who are part of our community. This week, meet Kim!

Where are you from?
I grew up outside of New York City but have found home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! I travel often and extensively and find that the place that I live can be wherever I lay my bag down at the end of the day.

What's your FIUTS story?
I was working at the Gates Foundation when a friend told me about her work at FIUTS. I was immediately impressed by the dedication and impact of its programs and felt excited to join an organization whose grassroots style encouraged creativity, inclusion and collaboration. I've found that being a part of FIUTS humbles me and keeps me connected to a diverse, empowered global community that spans ages, skills and cultures.

How will you change the world?
I would like to make a difference by inspiring others to follow their passion and live in a way that supports the world as a globally-minded, interconnected community.
